Rosie Gaston – Operations and Communications Manager

Rosie was delighted to join the SLT team in November 2020 and brings with her programming, planning, research, marketing and organisational skills. In her previous role at the National Trust, Rosie had sole responsibility for marketing/ programming events at their only working theatre. She was successful in increasing the events programme by 100%, recruiting an A-list celebrity as Patron, and orchestrating a national launch of a 2020 exhibition. Rosie is delighted to bring her experience to SLT and hopes to consolidate and expand upon SLT’s offer, in the local community and beyond.

In 2016, Rosie co-founded Off The Text Workshops, a fledging Theatre Workshop Company aimed at providing good INSET (In-Service Education and Training) to enhance the palette of professional Drama Teachers. She continues to run these performing art workshops throughout the academic year.

Rosie says, “I feel incredibly passionate about the work of SLT, and, like many of us today, I am very motivated by promoting and aiding good mental health and wellbeing. I look forward to meeting the many people involved”.
