Liz
Liz (name changed) has been attending Stuart Low Trust Saturday Projects for the past four to five months. At first she was wary of meeting a whole new group of people but she soon found a welcoming group of “regulars” who come attend the Saturdays.
After a while she began to make friends and enjoy the different activities like the dancing, chi kung, psychology talks and mindfulness and remembered some of the tips to use at home.
Liz explains how much she appreciates the opportunity to attend a wide variety of diverse and interesting Saturdays which would be very difficult to access anywhere else.
Liz also talks about how the Stuart Low Trust Saturday Project allows her to just “get away from everything” and leave all her stresses at the door. She says that attending SLT is something to look forward to, a change in routine and an opportunity to think about something apart from everyday reality.
